This fragile package must be kept in a clean, dry, and cool temperature between 2℃ and 25℃. The manufacturer is the renowned French pharmaceutical company, Vivacy Laboratories.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
Use Stylage L to fill in and smooth deep wrinkles, including nasolabial folds and oral commissures. In addition, this gel can efficiently rejuvenate the backs of hands by adding volume.
HOW DOES THIS DERMAL FILLER WORK?
Poor lifestyle habits like smoking and prolonged unprotected exposure to the sun can age skin drastically. So, the skin starts to wrinkle and sag, leaving your patients looking older than their actual age. Hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers provide support to troublesome skin areas. Stylage L is unlike any other hyaluronic acid filler, because it delivers both skin curative and protective actions. While the hyaluronic acid gel repairs wrinkles, the mannitol defends the skin and the gel from damage. The hyaluronic acid is also processed using original InterPenetrated Cross-Linked Networks or IPN-Like Technology resulting in an elastic and smooth gel. It is also durable and can withstand degradation from repeated facial movements. So, wrinkles and lines are erased and your patients will be sporting a new, refreshed complexion.
HOW TO INJECT?
During the facial assessment session, you should discuss your patient’s medical history to determine if they are a suitable candidate for this treatment. Using the needle provided, inject Stylage L into clean and sterilised areas via deep dermis injections. Afterwards, massage the injected areas for better gel distribution. If your patients have poor pain tolerance, you may apply some pain numbing cream before injecting. This filler is also available with lidocaine.
HOW LONG DOES THIS FACE FILLER LAST?
Due to its highly effective IPN-Like Technology, Stylage L can last up to 12 months. After which it will disintegrate into the neighboring tissues. Your patients can opt for yearly maintenance treatments to retain their everlasting youthful looks.
IS THIS PRODUCT SAFE?
Yes, Stylage L is a very safe medical device used to repair signs of skin aging. It is made of high-quality medical-grade hyaluronic acid that is extracted and purified from controlled bacteria cultures. Furthermore, the manufacturing environment is regulated, so that no pyrogens are introduced into the injectable fillers. As well, hyaluronic acid is a renowned filler ingredient due to its high tissue compatibility. That being said, this filler is still contraindicated for some people due to an unestablished safety profile:
People who are allergic to the filler’s ingredients (e.g. hyaluronic acid, mannitol);
People with the tendency to develop hypertrophic scars.
STYLAGE L SIDE EFFECTS
Just like any other minimally invasive procedures, Stylage L carries a risk of infection. However, with thorough aseptic practices, this risk is very low. In addition, inflammatory reactions associated to dermal implantations are commonly reported by patients.
COMMON SIDE EFFECTS:
Pain and tenderness
These symptoms usually last for a few days. The addition of mannitol will help control the severity of the inflammatory responses. Advise your patient of any appropriate aftercare methods outlined in the product pamphlet.
SEVERE OR SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS
If your patients experience these reactions or develop new reactions few days after procedure, advise them to obtain medical assistance.
WHAT IS IT MADE OF?
Stylage L is made of non-animal sourced hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid molecules are obtained through a biofermentation process. The molecules are then cross-linked and intertwined using the patented IPN-Like Technology to produce a resilient and sturdy gel. The filler material is a lot gentler on the skin compared to other brands of hyaluronic acid fillers due to its low concentration of the binding agent 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE). Antioxidant mannitol has also been added to protect skin as well as the gel. As a result, skin depressions are diminished and your patients will look and feel better.
