RESTYLANE LYFT (PERLANE)
Restylane Lyft formerly known as Perlane-L, is another amazing product from the Restylane dermal fillers family manufactured by Q-Med.
WHAT IS RESTYLANE LYFT (PERLANE)?
It is a transparent, injectable, dermal filler gel for anti-aging cosmetic treatments. Its main ingredient is of Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid (NASHA) origin. The hyaluronic acid in this product comes from fermenting streptococci bacteria, which makes it safe to use, with no prior allergy tests needed.
The Restylane Lyft formula is much thicker than other products from the Restylane dermal fillers family, which makes it the right choice for severe facial wrinkles and lines, as its dense formula allows it to be injected deeper into the skin tissue.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
The Restylane Lyft formula is specifically designed for correction of some of the deepest facial folds, including furrows and skin lines, and deeper lines around the nose and mouth area. It can be used also for filling in contoured areas of the face, such as cheeks, in order to shape the area and restore youthful look and fullness of the skin.
This is an amazing product, as just one single injection may change the facial contour of the patient. It works great on the eyebrow area, as well as the cheeks, and it can do wonders when it comes to lip enhancement.
HOW DOES DERMAL FILLER WORK?
Along with the aging process, environmental factors can affect the skin, such as exposure to the sun, and the body starts to lose its naturally produced hyaluronic acid. Since one of the main functions of hyaluronic acid is to hydrate the skin and to transport nutrients, as a result of this process, the skin gets looser and starts to lose volume. This is when wrinkles and facial lines are formed, and they can only get deeper without any intervention.
Restylane Lyft can treat the aging process by reintroducing hyaluronic acid deep into the skin tissue. When injected deep into the dermis, the hyaluronic acid has the ability to plump the area, while adding lost volume to the skin and smoothing out wrinkles and facial lines.
Hyaluronic acid is also known to stimulate collagen growth, which increases the skin’s elasticity and strength.
HOW TO INJECT?
Every cosmetic procedure must be done by a professional that is trained and licensed to perform it correctly. Inject Restylane Lyft deep into the skin tissue to treat the most severe facial folds. Because of its thick formula, it can add volume to extreme skin depressions.
The results on deep facial lines, wrinkles and depressions caused by aging are immediate.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Restylane Lyft tends to last longer than thinner hyaluronic acid products, as it is a much thicker formula.
On average, Restylane Lyft can last between 6 and 9 months, and sometimes up to a year. However, the more mobile the area being treated, the shorter the effects last.
IS THIS PRODUCT SAFE?
Restylane Lyft is a very safe dermal filler, as it is FDA tested and approved for mid-face and mouth area corrections. As mentioned before, the procedure must be done by a professional, in order to avoid any complications or possible side effects.
Any patients who have an allergy to some of its components, have a bleeding disorders, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding should not proceed with the treatment.
