How does this work to help my patients?
With age, the skin of our face and body undergoes various physiological and morphological changes, such as a decrease in hyaluronic acid, that may lead to loss of volume in the dermal tissues. This results in undesirable effects on the skin that are especially noticeable on the face, such as wrinkling, loss of elasticity, and sunken areas. Fortunately, filler treatments are available that can help to counteract these effects. Pluryal Classic is made of hyaluronic acid that has been specially modified to increase its stability and improve its performance as an aesthetic enhancer. It is implanted into skin tissue to restore volume thereby smoothing wrinkles and lifting sunken areas, providing the patient with a youthful appearance.
How do I use this product?
This dermal filler may only be used by doctors who have received specific training on the injection technique for filling wrinkles. Before the procedure, ensure that your patient is fully informed about the expected result, indications and contraindications, precautions, warnings, and potential side effects of treatment with Pluryal Classic. Inject Pluryal Classic into non-inflamed, healthy skin that has been disinfected. To inject, use the provided 27G½” needle and inject slowly while employing the suitable injection technique. Inject the amount of product necessary to achieve the desired correction. Do not overcorrect. After injecting the product, lightly massage the treated area to ensure even distribution.
How long will the treatment take?
The treatment consists of 1 or 2 sessions, or until the desired level of correction is achieved. The injection sessions usually take 15–30 minutes to complete.
What can I use it for?
Pluryal Classic is indicated for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, and to add volume to the lips.
What areas should I use this product on?
Pluryal Classic can be used to treat deep wrinkles and folds on the face, particularly glabellar lines, also known as “frown lines,” nasolabial folds, and marionette lines. As well, this product can be injected into the lips for purposes of volumizing and contouring.
How long do the results last?
