WHAT IS ELLANSE L?
Ellanse L is an injectable cosmetic implant used to restore lost volume, and smooth the appearance of the skin. It is a latex-free, bioresorbable, non-pyrogenic implant made of synthetic polycaprolactone microspheres and suspended in a carboxymethylcellulose gel carrier.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

HOW DOES THIS DERMAL FILLER WORK?

Due to the depletion of collagen over time, the skin loses its elasticity and starts to sag. The microspheres stimulate the production of natural collagen through neocollagenesis. As the body’s collagen levels are replenished, the skin starts to repair itself from within, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and lines. As polycaprolactone is a soft polymer that is completely bioresorbable, the microspheres are controlled and predictable. The microspheres encourage connective tissue growth over time.
HOW TO INJECT?
This filler is only intended to be used by a trained medical professional.
Discuss your patient’s medical history prior to treatment. Apply an anesthetic, if desired. Attach a 27G needle to the prefilled syringe. Disinfect the injection site. Inject at a 30° angle into the sub to deep dermis. Using the tunneling technique, carefully fill the area. Use a 1:1 correction factor to avoid overcorrection.
Following the procedure, the solution immediately increases volume to the dermis, leaving your patient’s skin smooth and healthy with a radiant glow. Recommend avoiding extreme temperatures for at least one week after the treatment.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
