WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
Revofil Aquashine Soft Filler is a unique solution indicated for rehydrating and revitalising the skin, while also smoothing out fine lines. Patients suffering from dull, dry skin respond well to this treatment. Clients will notice marked improvements in skin elasticity and hydration after injections. Some of the areas most commonly treated using this filler are the face, neck, and decolletage.
HOW DOES THIS DERMAL FILLER WORK?
Skin ageing is easily noticeable due in part to the appearance of wrinkles and spots on dehydrated skin. Some patients may even find that their skin becomes duller and develops blemishes more easily as they age. All these symptoms occur because biological ageing puts a damper on the normal skin renewal and repairing processes. Dead cells are not shed as frequently, leading to clogged pores and the formation of blemishes, while unavoidable water loss renders the skin dry and flaky. At the same time, important structural molecules like collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid are not produced as rapidly by the body. Because of this, the once-strong skin structure collapses, leading to the formation of lines and wrinkles. Additionally, outside influences, like chronic sun exposure and smoking, introduce tons of free radicals that further exacerbate these signs of ageing.

HOW TO INJECT IT?
Revofil Aquashine Soft Filler injections are a medical procedure and should only be performed by licensed medical professionals familiar with revitalising injection techniques. Though the procedure is minimally invasive, it must be conducted with strict adherence to aseptic guidelines. As part of the pretreatment process, ensure the patient’s suitability to receive these injections by reviewing their full medical history. Just before injection, disinfect the targeted areas and administer anesthetic if necessary. Assemble the medical device by securing a sterilised 32G needle. Inject the gel slowly into the superficial to mid dermis layer. It is important to inject the desired amount fully into the skin before withdrawing the needle. Failure to do so will result in material overflow from the injection site. After completing injections, gently massage the treatment sites to integrate the filler seamlessly within the skin tissues. You can even apply an ice compress to reduce any swelling.
HOW LONG DOES THIS FILLER LAST?
For first-time clients, administer the filler in 3 sessions at 4-week intervals. To maintain the skin rejuvenating effects, repeat Revofil Aquashine Soft Filler injections twice or thrice yearly, depending on the patient’s progress. Alternatively, intensive treatments consisting of six injection sessions at two week intervals can be given for patients with pronounced signs of ageing. These patients may need to repeat 2 to 3 sessions per year to maintain the desired results. Nevertheless, results vary from patient to patient.
IS THIS PRODUCT SAFE?
Revofil Aquashine Soft Filler is a safe and effective aesthetic solution that is perfect for patients who prefer a non-surgical and reversible treatment to correct the appearance of ageing. However, it is still contraindicated for certain clients, including:
Clients who are allergic/hypersensitive to any of the ingredients;
Clients with a history of anaphylactic or allergic reactions;
Clients on immunosuppressive therapy;
Clients on medications that interfere with platelet function (e.g. thrombolytics,anticoagulants, platelet aggregation inhibitors);
Clients on supplements that intensify risk of bleeding or bruising (e.g. ginkgo biloba, fish oil, high doses of vitamin E, garlic);
Clients who are pregnant or lactating;
Clients who are below 18 years of age.

REVOFIL AQUASHINE SOFT FILLER SIDE EFFECTS
Patients may exhibit mild post-treatment inflammatory responses.
COMMON SIDE EFFECTS:
Pain
Swelling
Redness
These reactions should resolve themselves within a week. Advise your patients to protect the corrected areas post-injection from harsh temperatures (e.g. excessive sunlight, UV lamps, extreme cold) until the skin has healed. There are also some rare reactions that have been reported.
RARE ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Papules
Localised tissue death in the glabellar region
